Scope

National Iranian Oil Engineering and Construction Company, NIOEC, is responsible for the implementation of the Irans infrastructure projects in the field of petroleum refining, petroleum and products pipelines and depots as well as Irans joint venture overseas petroleum related projects.

Since 2007, NIOEC has been entrusted with National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) Projects estimated at well over 15 billion Euros, which entail home and overseas projects including major undertakings in petroleum refining projects in Syria, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Headquartered in Tehran with a diverse and highly skilled workforce of more than 600 employees and equipped with the latest in Information Technology, we are engaged in every aspect of the petroleum refinery and pipeline projects, including feasibility studies, engineering, procurement and construction.

As a company and as individuals, we take great pride in contributing to the timely and orderly implementation of our entrusted projects, while caring deeply about the environmental issues.

Investing in various research and development programs has also been one of our major contributions in promoting Iranian industry.

Company Roots

We trace our earliest roots to 1960s when we started as the designer and implementer of petroleum and product depots and dispensing stations, which with the start of our involvement in Tehran Refinery and the National Oil and Gas Pipeline led to the formation of an entity called the "Management of Special Projects ". That Management later became the "Refineries Engineering and Construction Affairs"; with major undertakings such as Arak and Bandar Abbas grass root refinery projects, and subsequently, The National Iranian Oil Engineering and Construction Company in 1992, by which it is known today, a subsidiary of the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company.

Energy Technologies

Implementation of new technologies and state-of-the-art knowhow are of premium in our engineering and construction activities. Were focusing on technologies that improve our end product, i.e., the entrusted projects. We also are investing in the development of emerging environmental technologies, cutting down on the emission of toxic gases to the environments, as well as technologies to make the infrastructures safe against natural adversaries such as earthquakes, while taking into account the economies of the projects.
